Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish pop and flamenco artist. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the outskirts of traditional and pop music. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success after her first album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022 following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo on the show for the very first time ever on the program. Motomami was the sole female in history to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
