It was the Critics Choice Movie Awards nominated her for Best Young Actress for Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The film received acclaim in 2011 as the lead actress in the science fiction thriller Super 8 which earned her a Spotlight Award at the Hollywood festival of thrillers. After playing the titular role on We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she was also the Princess Aurora as well in Maleficent and Maleficent The Mistress of Evil.
